Kicking off Day 4 of #EpicWeek is “Fortuna.” The record finds Chance with overcrowded thoughts concerning a girl he desires immensely, yet feels he’s too tarnished to pursue. The fear that inconsistency has blurred lines haunts him, and has driven him to question if any future exists. “Quiet as kept, I fear the extra step, these butterflies are rioting inside me to their deaths,” raps Chance, nervous to reveal his true emotions. The echo of “oh well” in the hook, crooned by Garnett Boldin, serves as Chance’s final remarks on the matter – rendering himself helpless in his new pursuit.

Chance Fischer has always came correct when dropping music. Fortuna doesn’t stray away from that. The rich, soulful sound in the track gives an overwhelming feel of emotions. Chance delivers bar after bar in a storytelling style which will keep your attention throughout the track.
