Indo, a 19 year old Rapper/Producer from Newark, New Jersey, submitted the featured track “I Know You Want It”.

Pro’s:
It might be the New Jersey infuence, but off top Indo reminded me a lot of a modern, younger version of Joe Budden. Everything from his instrumental to his voice.

Indo is confident throughout the entire track as he tells listeners, “I know you want it, a gift from the angels, she knows she wants it, she pops it like pain pills.”

Con’s:
Being that there is going to be a Joe Budden comparison you either have to match his skill lyrically or make the sound your own. The song to me was cool, but you can hear one just like it in any other city as well, content wise.

There are a few artist in the game right now who are often compared to someone else and often always play 2nd best. My best advice is to really find your sound and run with it. Something that will shake comparison’s and be the signature sound to let people know it’s you.
