In a recent interview, Nas takes time out to remember and honor the life of his good friend, the late Amy Winehouse.

The illmatic MC reminisces about first hearing Ms. Winehouse sing as well as their first meeting.

“It’s a bittersweet feeling to have collaborated with her now that she’s not here. I’m happy, the sweet part is that the fans have new music, but the bitter part is that she’s no longer here to really give it to us and deliver her own music; to see her smile and to hear her voice.”
